Nora beach

Definitely the most famous of the beaches of Pula, known for its location within walking distance from the archaeological park of Nora.
Also known as Rada di Sant'Efisio because of the church dedicated to the patron saint of Cagliari, who was martyred in this very place where every year on May 3 culminates the homonymous festival.
The beach is bordered by a cliff on which stands the Torre del Coltellazzo and is light sand grains medium, bathed by a clear sea and shallow, ideal for children. Behind it is the lagoon of Nora, a natural oasis perfect for birdwatching or canoeing.
Very popular, especially in high season, this beach is perfect for family holidays as it is served with parking and parking for campers, bar and restaurant in the immediate vicinity.
Also in Nora, definitely worth a visit the beach of Su Guventeddu, characterized by white sand and emerald green water. The beach also has restaurants, a bar, a restaurant and a souvenir shop, as well as the possibility to rent sun loungers and parasols.

Santa Margherita beach

Of medium size and with an arch shape, it extends for about 800 meters in a coastline of coarse sand and pebbles and a clean sea with backdrops from shimmering reflections between green and blue.
In the surrounding area you can admire the Peschiera di Nora, with rich flora and fauna; the ruins of a barracks of German soldiers dating back to World War II; the peninsula of Nora, with the archaeological area and the Torre del Coltellazzo.
Quite frequented during the summer season, the bay of Agumu is also home to an important sailing center that organizes numerous events every year for lovers of the sea and water sports.

Cala Bernardini

It is the most western and secluded part of the long beach of Santa Margherita di Pula.
The beach Cala Bernardini is located in the western Gulf of the Angels, not far from the town of Pula. An enchanting beach of fine golden sand, a crystal clear emerald sea, with shallow waters.
On the right, towards the west, you can walk along a mule track that, among pink granite rocks, leads to other small, uncrowded coves.

Cala d’Ostia


The beach Cala d'Ostia is located within the western Gulf of the Angels, in the pine forest of the famous resort of Santa Margherita. Near the beach, if you move west, you can easily find the Tower of Cala d'Ostia, a watchtower dating from the seventeenth century and built in granite and lintels, which gives its name to the area.
This small cove of golden sand with pebbles is bathed by a beautiful crystal clear emerald sea, with a sandy bottom alternated with pebble areas of medium depth. It is not uncommon to find it agitated because of the currents. Being little sheltered from the wind this area is ideal for lovers of kyte and windsurfing.
