Among the most beautiful and most famous beaches in Sardinia, Tuerredda beach is an authentic paradise, a few km from Chia, in the municipality of Teulada.

Where is Tuerredda

Between Capo Malfatano and Capo Spartivento is this pearl of the south-western coast of the island. More precisely, it is located in the inlet enclosed between Punta Tuerredda and Punta Antoni Areddu, which also borders the enchanting beach of Perdalonga. Sa Tuerredda consists of a beach about 500 meters long, characterized by a singular double arch shape.

The sand is particularly clear and very fine, white in color, and overlooks a suggestive crystalline sea, where the emerald green of the shore meets the intense blue of the seabed where the sea becomes deeper.

Right in front of the beach there is a small island that can also be reached by swimming where there is a tower (hence the name Tuerredda), while behind it it is possible to admire a still uncontaminated nature, and the remains of the Sa Tuerredda nuraghe.

Beach services and facilities

Thanks to its conformation, the beach is sheltered from the mistral and the sea is almost always calm, perfect for long relaxing baths or snorkeling. The seabed is sandy and rich in marine fauna.
The beach is full of services such as bathing establishments, refreshment points on the beach, canoe and pedal boat rental, ample paid parking also for campers, bars and restaurants nearby.
From here it is also possible to leave for excursions to other beautiful places on the Teulada coast such as Porto Tramatzu, Cala Zafferano or the dunes of Is Arenas Biancas in Porto Pino.

 

How to get to Tuerredda

The beach can be reached from Teulada in a westerly direction from the SS195 Sulcitana towards via Enrico Addis for just over three kilometers; then turn left and take the SP71 following the signs for Porto Teulada; once you have traveled about nineteen kilometers, turn slightly right and take the road to Tuerredda. If, on the other hand, you are starting from Chia, simply proceed south towards viale Scolopi and, after about six hundred and fifty meters, turn right and take viale Chia / SP71, up to the sign for Tuerredda.

How to get to Tuerredda from Is Molas Resort 

If you are a guest of the Is Molas Resort, on the other hand, continuing towards Teulada, about 24 kilometers from Pula, you can easily reach this wonderful oasis of peace to spend an unforgettable day in complete relaxation.
